How many luck you can have on a day to have cause and effect in one single day so many times. Most of us will say what happend? But none of us will ever agree that a single behavior of a men or women can cause a day to be ruined, just because people are sometimes not aware of their time and place and what they do. Ignoring or not following signs or rules is one of them for example. Sometimes it is not even rules or signs to be followed, but just to tired to make an extra meter, just to get earlier at your car. And that "tire d" triggered my event.

It happened to me yesterday. When going home I noticed that my left tire was flat and with these roads in Mexico no wonder that this could happen. Not knowing what could have caused my flat tire I started to change it with the spare tire I have in the back under my truck. Turning the weel to get the spare tire cable loose is already an adventure not telling to get the tire under the car away. Anyhow, I could fix it within 30 minutes and I set a new record remembering the last time I did the same. After I picked up my son from school I pulled over a "llantera" that Mexico is rich of and are many of them in a single street, to ask him to check the tire.

The conclusion was that somebody has been standing on my valve and so hard that it ripped, leacking out the air of my tire. The car was nicely parked in the parking way of my company I worked for and I do remember that I did not obstruct any footway or pathway so somebody must have rushed true the parked cars and hit (maybe by accident) the valve which broke and left the air out of my tire. So rushing true parked cars and stepping on my valve was the cause of the flat tire. The effect however was not only that I was late to pick up my son, but also late after I fixed my tire. Coming home late before I finally could start my work that I needed to do and finish for tomorrow. Because of that I was a bit in a hurry and coming home parking my car(you do not want to know this), hit again with the rear tire the peak of the borderdesk in my street and punched the back tire. Pfffffff it said and I rushed out to check the back tire, and yes also this was now leacking.

Because I was already late, and it was almost dark, I rushed to the "llantera" again in order to see if I could get this tire fixed too. However it was a more difficult punchwhole, and it could only be done by the day after. A little in the stress now by running out of time, I picked the spare tire that I just pulled under my car again, but in my fast response I turned the handle to the wrong side, causing the spare tire cable to jam and yes, it broke. This was unfortunate and now I had to see how two big guys rumbling under my backend of the car trying to get my spare wheel out of it. All kinds of things went true my head, including taking the bus the day after to be on time at the work, worst was that I ran out of time to do my work that I had promised to finish tomorrow. And it did not come easy. However, good Mexican mechanics finally pulled out the spare tire from the cable, but the spare tire cable was ruined.

Finally I got my spare tire under the car and I could return home, without any spare tire now and still had to come back the day after to pick up my tire, not talking about the costs and the stress it is going to cost me. So, next time when somebody is crossing again the parking way rushing between parked cars, please let him or her be aware what can happen, when just a small mistake in putting your foot on places it should not belong and what it could cause for effect on others people lifes. If we would be aware everyday of what we doing and what effect it can have on others life, it would be a more better world. Thanks.
